The Festival of the Unexceptional was created by classic car insurer Hagerty in 2014 to highlight the alarming attrition rate of some of the most popular and best-loved vehicles of our recent motoring past

Although it is presented as a tongue-in-cheek “concours de l’ordinaire”, there is a serious side to the contest to find the country’s finest “unexceptional” motor, in that most of the everyday models have become extremely rare
