The museum plays host to several fascinating oddities from Peugeot's past, such as this 402 Longue, which was converted to run on coal gas so as to overcome gasoline shortages during the Second World War. Coal was fed into the burner mounted at the rear, and the resulting gas was piped into the tank on the roof for storage. It could then be used to power the engine, which had been converted to suit.
